west for the past 4 years Rachel is moving to Washington, DC! <span></span></p>

few additions including a link to the SOS Data Portal and a quick guide to data
entry. The SOS website (<a href="http://www.blm.gov/sos">www.blm.gov/sos</a>) is the primary resource for Technical
Protocol and all required forms, including the SOS datasheet, clearance form,
annual report template, herbarium guidance and other items.<span></span></p>

researchers, generally in small amounts around 100 to 200 seeds<span></span></p>

</span></span>If the collection is larger than 10,000 seed,
seed remaining after the conservation and working collections are met goes into
the Operational Collection. This seed is intended for specific projects needing
larger amounts of seed – common garden studies, grow-out, etc. – and coordinated
by State and Ecoregional program leads.<span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:normal">If you will be requesting seed
collections back for specific projects, please get your seed to Bend as soon as
possible. Requests must be made through the BLM National Office (Rachel Hosna)
and a complete Bend Clearance Form (available on the SOS website) is required
for processing.<span></span></p>

project. Bend processes a limited number of accessions for return each year.
Requesting all you accessions back denies other field offices their seed

a taxonomic expert such as herbarium staff at the regional herbarium where your
vouchers are being sent or the botanist at your field office, not a CLM intern

collection teams were suggested during the call, but please utilize the current
SOS email listserv. This is the main forum for SOS communications from the
National Office as well as between SOS collection teams, partner organizations
