Yes difficult to tell from photos, but here's my 2 cents: Castilleja
spp. they're small, textured, and translucent, almost crystalline

My name is Shayla Burnett, and I am a graduate student at
UW. As part of my research project, I am analyzing the
seedbank from my field sites in the Thunder Basin. I have
identified all the seeds from samples except for this last
one. The Seeds of Success information and photos online
have been quite helpful in this endeavor, so I was
wondering if you would mind taking a look at the attached
photos. If you know what it is or have any tips or
