Overview: GS 7, Full-time, Modified Term, not to exceed 13 months (may be extended up to 8 years or converted to career/career-conditional without additional competition)
Compensation: $44,740 - $58,158 per year

Responsibilities:
As an Biological Science Technician (Plants) you will conduct a variety of habitat restoration duties in the management, manipulation, observation, data collection, analysis, and protection of plants and their habitat..
* Procure, produce and install native plant materials for ecological restoration
* Survey for, collect, clean, and store native seed
* Conduct greenhouse and nursery plant production
* Plan and implement seeding and planting activities
* Provide technical assistance on post-construction, landscaping, and recreational area plantings
* Organize staff, contractors, and cooperators, including high school conservation programs and correctional work crews, in vegetation maintenance activities
* Conduct outreach and environmental educational programs
