Riparian Outreach and Education Position with Mid-Columbia Fisheries
Enhancement Group

This full-time position will coordinate and carry out outreach and
education to both K-12 students (conservation education programming) and
riparian vegetation restoration professionals, along with other duties
supporting native fish recovery.  This position can be based in Kittitas or
Yakima counties, Washington, and will require a hard-working, flexible,
enthusiastic, and outgoing individual, with an interest and knowledge of
native riparian plant communities in the Mid-Columbia Region. Some weekend
work is required during the summer season as well as field work on a
regular basis.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of riparian habitat and its
function, a background in working with the public in an educational
capacity, good written and verbal communication skills, and have, at heart,
a desire to communicate about natural resources with people of all ages.
Fluency in Spanish is desired but not required. For more information, and a
