</span></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Georgia",serif;mso-ligatures:none">We are seeking a Botanist with strong field taxonomy skills to serve in a Wildlife Biologist 2 position for the Wildlife Conservation Section (WCS). The Wildlife Biologist
2 will work with a team of botanists on conservation of rare plant species and habitats prioritized in Georgia’s State Wildlife Action Plan.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Georgia",serif;mso-ligatures:none">This position's primary duty is management of Natural Heritage data. This includes implementing survey and population trends monitoring of priority rare plant
species, supervising rare plant data management, maintaining the list of tracked rare Georgia flora, and assessing species’ state conservation ranks. Other important responsibilities are inventory of species on conservation lands, environmental review of projects
impacting rare plants and habitats, managing the Georgia Ginseng Program, and coordinating high priority conservation actions to meet requirements for federal grants. The Wildlife Biologist 2 will also contribute to outreach programs and provide technical
information to the general public and conservation partners. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

Alliance on plant conservation priorities. Strong workplace organizational skills are necessary to meet the demand for information on Georgia’s diverse rare plants and habitats, and to receive and manage data from individuals and partners. Teamwork is critical
