<p class="MsoPlainText">You may have seen a call for Federal agencies to report on progress toward the National Seed Strategy – we hope many of you will take advantage of this opportunity for non-federal groups to make sure their contributions to the National
Seed Strategy for Rehabilitation and Restoration (National Seed Strategy) between 2015 and 2020 are also counted in an upcoming progress report. The deadline is October 12<sup>th</sup>, and we have not received nearly enough contributions to showcase the depth
and breadth of work you are all doing that supports implementation of the strategy. You can provide as much or as little information as you’d like - even just taking 10 minutes to submit a few sentences about the work you are doing, and indicating which goal
the work is supporting, will be incredibly helpful. Please make the time to contribute before the end of the day on Oct 12! More information, including the form you need to use to submit your project info, is available at

<p class="MsoPlainText">Reporting progress on this Strategy is important to demonstrate effective federal and non-federal collaboration and achievements; highlight joint problem-solving for natural resource challenges; and highlight effective land management
tools to sustain native ecosystems, improve wildlife habitat, promote recovery from natural hazards and other disturbances, and sustain multiple types of land use.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">Your data will be used to create a report of non-federal activities, which will used in parallel with a related report on federal activities. Here are the goals of the report:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">-Summarize the state of the native seed for restoration and plant materials development<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">-Show the progress made on a national strategy across various non-federal cooperators<o:p></o:p></p>
