Conservancy working under the auspices of Minnesota's Legacy Funds. The Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment was passed by Minnesota voters in 2008 </span><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", Trebuchet, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">to:
protect drinking water sources; to protect, enhance, and restore wetlands, prairies, forests, and fish, game</span><span style="display: inline !important; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", Trebuchet, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">, and wildlife
habitat; to preserve arts and cultural heritage; to support parks and trails; and to protect, enhance, and restore lakes, rivers, streams, and groundwater.</span>
