This is part of our efforts to cover a broad range of biodiversity in the magazine, including plants. This issue also has an article on dragonflies and the next will cover freshwater mussels among other things. As I like to point out to our staff and members,
you don’t need a backbone and nervous system to be considered “wild-life”. </p>
