It now holds information on 289 species and more than 1,800 articles. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The <a href="http://www.flawildflowers.org/Literature.php" target="_blank">Wildflower Literature Survey</a> project was established in 2010 to provide a free searchable database of native wildflower research. Dr. Anne Frances, Washington, D.C., spent 2 1/2 years searching for the most relevant citations for increasing and protecting Florida’s native wildflowers. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The easy-to-use database lets researchers, citizen scientists and native plant growers search for peer-reviewed titles and abstracts by authorship, keywords or topics. <a href="http://flawildflowers.org/plantlist.php" target="_blank">Click here</a> for a list of included species, many of which also grow in the Southeastern U.S. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>In 2014, literature on 10 species of invasive plants to add to the collection.
