<dd>Primary Duties:
<x-tab> </x-tab>Assist
Regional Botanist in a broad range of field and office tasks.
Participate in surveys for plants and animals; monitor vegetation;
collect and manage data and specimens; assist with document preparation,
library research, and computer searches; perform routine maintenance,
habitat improvement, and enhancement on Department-owned lands; assist
with administrative tasks such as vehicle and equipment maintenance,
purchasing, copying, and filing. The ability to work in adverse
weather and in unstable terrain is a must. Some overnight travel
may be required.<br>

course work in botany and ecology, experience in field work, familiarity
with Windows-based computers. Willingness to do routine work and
