Arboretum’s mission will be considered. The maximum award is $2,000.

environmental science or public horticulture interns. Interns will work with
professional staff on garden maintenance, plant propagation, and seed
collection as well as plant record keeping, plant community data collection,
invasive plant removal, grounds maintenance, and assisting with educational
programs and special events. Interns are encouraged to conduct an independent
project in horticulture, ecological research, or environmental education. Field
trips to area parks, natural areas and gardens and participation in public
programs are part of the internship. This internship is an excellent
opportunity to gain a broad range of experiences working in a small non-profit
