[PCA] ARTICLE: Chickahominy Tribe reacquires ancestral lands

Summary
A 105-acre tract known as Mamanahunt along the Chickahominy River in Virginia has been purchased by the Chickahominy Tribe with $3.5 million in state funds provided by outgoing Gov. Ralph Northam. The land creates opportunities for cultural preservation and interpretation, and repatriation of ancestral remains, tribal officials said.
