*Position: Natural Resource Specialist



*Responsibilities:

  *   Implement natural resource program objectives through the development of specific projects to improve, expand, and restore habitats.
  *   Serve on an interdisciplinary team of BLM specialists to draft and/or review analysis of potential impacts of proposed land uses in NEPA documents to ensure that they are consistent with BLM policies and applicable environmental laws.
  *   Prepare inspection and enforcement reports to document compliance and/or noncompliance
  *   Work with BLM staff, government representatives, external representatives of private and public institutions, public land user groups, and others on wildlife and botanical habitat issues.
  *   Use and be proficient with electronic and automation tools to increase efficiency.
