Program Description: Join ARDOT Botanist Joe Ledvina to learn about the steps ARDOT is taking to create Monarch Butterfly habitat along the transportation corridors they manager.

Speaker Bio: Joe Ledvina is the botanist for the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT), and has previously worked in Virginia as a plant ecologist for the Smithsonian Institution where he managed a long-term grassland restoration ecology project in partnership with Virginia Working Landscapes. Joe is also an active participant in the AR Monarch Conservation Partnership where he represents ARDOT and their initiative to increase habitat for the monarch butterfly along the roadway corridors they manage.
