*Position: Natural Resource Specialist (Plant, Range, & Forestry Lead)



*Responsibilities:

  *   Principal advisor on plant, range, and forestry resource related issues and programs.
  *   Develops procedures and standards for programs and reviews, interprets, develops, and oversee implementation of vegetation, range, and forestry program policies.
  *   Applies scientific ecological concepts, principles, and applications in the review of, various ecosystem management and restoration activities, and the impact of various uses on ecological communities.
  *   Develops guidance and directives for compiling and coordinating work plans and budgets.
  *   Interprets, writes, and presents briefing/information papers on scientific documents and reports.
  *   Coordinates and integrates with programs relating to or affecting vegetation, range, and forestry resources such as wildlife, fisheries, minerals, fire, and recreation management.
