Dear Plant Conservation colleagues,

Communicating with others about plants is part of all of our work, whether
you need to communicate with your board, apply for funding, or work
directly with the public. If you've been interested in strengthening your
communication skills, or know someone who is working on this, The Morton
Arboretum is offering a new online course this winter:

*Science Communication for Broader Impact*

Become an effective science communicator. In this online course, you’ll
gain the skills you need to identify your audience and tailor your message
to that audience, select the right communication method for the task at
hand, use narratives to shape your communication, and translate scientific
findings to maximize your reach and impact.

*The Morton Arboretum is located on ancestral homelands of the Council of
Three Fires— the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi—and many other tribes that
resided on or migrated through this land for generations. We recognize
these enduring communities and the many Indigenous peoples residing
throughout the Chicago region today. Learn more
