Despite everything, it is still spring!

As part of their terrific work to promote gardening with native plants (and to provide plant activities during shelter in the place), NPCC Affiliate the <https://ymlpmail2.net/imgz/09yp_GormanPOLLINATORMEADOWHOWTOoct17sm.jpg> California Native Plant Society <https://www.cnps.org/> is offering an online garden tour this Sunday as well as online collections of photos of beautiful native plant gardens from around the state.

*	Attend a live virtual garden tour this Sunday <https://secure2.convio.net/cnps/site/R?i=vS_ztCDwKdP-Io0hhgLMaQ> May 3 with ecologist Doug Tallamy and CNPS Executive Director Dan Gluesenkamp.
*	Check out CNPS chapter garden tour photo galleries. <https://secure2.convio.net/cnps/site/R?i=bZ0KNLQ9RcYfXaLw7JpIhA>

If you are interested in taking advantage of time at home to start a native garden, CNPS suggests you explore native plant nurseries in your area. They provide a nursery list for California <http://secure2.convio.net/cnps/site/R?i=j20PNKV4HCPsylpXoz8CHA> .

To find native plants sources in other states, consult a national online database, such as the

*	Ecoregional Revegetation Application <http://www.nativerevegetation.org/era/> and vendor database <http://www.nativerevegetation.org/era/downloads/ERA_Vendor_Table_0918.pdf> or
*	the National Native Plant Nursery Directory <http://www.plantnative.org/national_nursery_dir_main.htm>

Many native plant societies and botanic gardens also sell locally appropriate native plants as well as experts to help you learn to care for them. See the

*	NPCC Affiliates page <https://plantsocieties.cnps.org/index.php/about-main/affiliates-cooperators> to find native plant societies near you.
*	NPCC Affiliate Botanic Gardens Conservation International Garden Search <http://tools.bgci.org/garden_search.php> for a searchable database of botanic gardens around the U.S. and the world.

Please let us know if you are planning an online event, exhibition, field trip or tour so we can help everyone learn about and enjoy your local native plants! <mailto:emilyr at plantsocieties.org?subject=Online%20Native%20Plant%20Events>
