JOB OPPORTUNITY: USFS Biological Scientist/Program Manager (Albuquerque, NM) (July 20, 2020)

*Position: Supervisory Biological Scientist/Program Manager

The position involves serving on the USDA Forest Service Rocky Mountain Research Station Leadership Team, supervising 15 PhD level scientists ranging from GS-11 to +GS-15, and managing budget, workforce planning and priorities for the program. Scientists in the program focus on Interior West dryland ecosystems with research on plant ecology, physiology, and genetics, botany, range science, entomology, invasive plants, fire ecology, restoration, climate change and landscape science.
