TOUR: OPERATIONAL BEHIND-THE-SCENES OF THE U.S. BOTANIC GARDEN (see address

What it’s all about? Join Ian and see what it takes to keep the USBG
Conservatory functioning properly, from the various types of water used and
ventilation needs of the Garden to the intricate steam systems and controls
of the different environmental zones. Take a peek behind-the-scenes during
this lively tour and experience the life of USBG Operations personnel.

TOUR: NATURE IN MOTION



Date/time: Nov. 9; 12-12:45pm ET



What it’s all about? Taking time to enjoy nature has been shown to reduce
stress, increase productivity, and improve overall wellness. Join us on a
guided nature walk of the USBG outdoor gardens that explores our
relationship with plants and the natural world. Throughout this tour we
will intermittently stop to connect with our bodies through guided
stretching and calming exercises. Please note: This tour is held outdoors.
We suggest bringing sunscreen, protective clothing, and water. Tour is
canceled if it rains.
