*SOUTH CENTRAL CSC ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2017 SUMMER UNDERGRADUATE
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM*

The South Central Climate Science Center is offering a summer undergraduate
internship opportunity for students of underrepresented minorities
interested in STEM fields. Interns will travel across the south-central
U.S. to visit universities and field locations, where they will be involved
with hands-on activities related to climate research. See:

The Data Observation Network for Earth (DataONE) is pleased to announce
9-week summer research internship opportunities for undergraduates,
graduate students, and recent postgraduates. DataONE is a virtual
organization dedicated to providing open, persistent, robust, and secure
access to biodiversity and environmental data, supported by the U.S.

*SEEKING STUDENT APPLICANTS FOR NATIVE YOUTH CONGRESS*

Native American, Alaskan Native, and Pacific Islander high school students
are invited to apply for the Native Youth Community Adaptation and
Leadership Congress, which will be held July 9-15, 2017 in Shepherdstown,
WV. The goal of the Congress is to teach students about environmental
change while providing them with leadership skills for addressing
conservation issues within their own Native communities. See:
