[PCA] Applications being accepted for 3 Climate Science Center Review Teams (deadlines in May, June, and August)

The American Fisheries Society and the Human Dimensions Research Unit of
Cornell University are soliciting members for teams to conduct 5-year
reviews of three Climate Science Centers: Northeast CSC in Amherst, MA
(applications due May 19, 2017); South Central CSC in Norman, OK
(applications due June 2, 2017); and Pacific Islands CSC in Honolulu, HI
(applications due August 4, 2017).

Expertise Sought
Potential members of these Science Review Teams (SRT) should have expertise
in the general area of the development and/or application of information on
climate change  impacts on fisheries, wildlife, and cultural resources.
This may include but is not limited to:

•  Climate modeling and regional downscaling
•  Assessments of climate change impacts to physical and cultural systems
•  Vulnerability assessments of fish, wildlife and their habitats
•  Collaborative development of climate adaptation strategies for regional
stakeholders
•  Education and training of graduate and post-doctoral fellows
•  Application of CSC science products to natural and cultural resource
management programs of state, federal, tribal and First Nations,
non-profits and other relevant organizations.

SRT members can be from academia, state and federal agencies, non-profits,
tribal and First Nations and others as appropriate.  SRT members cannot be
a current or past recipient of CSC funds from the CSC being reviewed, nor
have an application for funding in the process of being developed for
submission or currently under consideration by the CSC being reviewed.
