Dear Colleagues:

A Western Center for Native Plant Conservation and Restoration Science was recently established by the USDA Forest Service.  Attached is a Forest Service announcement about the center.  A media announcement if forthcoming but I am trying to get it out to some who have an active interest such as the Plant Conservation Alliance.  Nine Forest Service scientists from three western research stations signed on to the center which is open to collaboration with external scientists and with stakeholders from state and federal agencies, universities, tribes, non-government organizations and private.
