This research scientist position is with the Grassland, Shrubland, and Desert Ecosystems Science Program at the Forest and Grassland Research Laboratory, located in Rapid City, South Dakota. Work at this location in this research unit focuses on developing research findings that will help managers restore and sustain grassland and rangeland ecosystems, evaluating the separate and interacting influences of climate change, invasive species, fire and other disturbances on the structure and function of arid and semi-arid ecosystems, and determining how natural and human influences affect plant and animal species. Personal research will focus on above- and below-ground process on plant populations and communities.
