Hi, folks. Do you know a great botanist who wants to study prairie plants
in western Minnesota?

One of my field techs is returning to school, and we're looking to fill her
position.

*Location:* Work area is listed as St. Paul, but field staff live in field
houses in Bricelyn and Belview, MN.

*Pay: *$19.29 - $27.98/hourly

*Lodging:* Provided by Minnesota Department of Natural Resources

*Expenses:* Supplies are always reimbursed. Food is usually reimbursed.

*Travel: *A state vehicle is supplied for all work-related travel.

*Duration:* This full-time, seasonal positions is funded through October
28, 2016.

*Qualifications:* Master's degree preferred but Bachelor's degree highly
encouraged to apply.

*Realities of Fieldwork:* Travel is required--see attached site map.
Specific days of the week may vary according to the weather. Some may work
may be conducted under physically challenging conditions. Occasionally,
work hours will include early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Time off
will be limited but can be arrange with a week's notice, in most cases,
except when field work is most intense. Candidate must be comfortable
working and traveling alone. Must be comfortable with destructive sampling
(ie, collecting plant and animal specimens).
