[PCA] Nominate a significant contributor to plant conservation! (Deadline July 15, 2016)

*David Given Award: Call for nominations - deadline extended to 15 July*

The Plant Conservation Subcommittee seeks nominations for this award which
will be presented to individuals or groups of individuals in early career
(up to age 40 years) who have made a significant contribution to plant
conservation during the previous five years.


Recipients will not necessarily be SSC members, but will have contributed
to SSC’s priorities and to the implementation of the CBD Aichi Biodiversity
Targets and the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation (see links below).


The award will be made during the 2016 IUCN World Conservation Congress in
Honolulu, USA, 1-10 September 2016 (the recipient does not need to be
present to receive the award when it is announced).
