*POSITION DESCRIPTION*

*Organization*

The Stiefel Group, Inc., founded in 2006, is in search of an individual who
can support program development and implementation for our clients. This
requires content knowledge about the science and policy aspects of climate
change mitigation, resilience, and adaptation. The successful candidate
will support program development and implementation; national  conferences
and committees; and intra-agency, interagency, intergovernmental, and
public private groups.

The successful candidate will have the skill necessary for developing,
implementing, and coordinating programs; balancing strategic and tactical
agendas simultaneously; facilitating answers to national science and
technology policy questions; managing effective internal and external
communication; and providing expert logistical facilitation while also
handling the intra-agency, interagency, and intergovernmental implications.
Some domestic travel is necessary.

*Essential Duties*

 Supports customer contract fulfillment

 Produces and provides product deliverables

 Develops, recommends, and implements long-range strategies

 Edits reports and studies

 Supervises outreach activities

*Knowledge/Skill/Ability*

 Knowledge of principles and practices of program development consulting

 Knowledge of principles and practices of management consulting

 Familiarity with laws and regulations associated with contracting for the
government

 Expertise in clear, concise, and grammatically-correct writing

*Experience/Education*

Sufficient experience and education to successfully perform the duties. A
typical way of obtaining the required qualifications is to possess at least
ten years’ experience working in a management consulting or program
development role. Position also requires knowledge of U.S. Government
agencies and, preferably, experience in environmental science, climate
change mitigation, resilience, and adaptation; science and technology
policy; and interagency and national work groups.
