Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden is offering a workshop on *Aquatic Plants
of Southern California* on Saturday and Sunday, August 22-23, 2015, taught
by Mare Nazaire, Ph.D., Collections Manager of the RSA-POM Herbarium.

This two day, hands-on workshop will cover taxonomy and identification of
southern California's aquatic plants, both native and non-native. Day one
will include classroom-based instruction; day two will be a field-day to
identify aquatic plants in several habitats in montane regions of Los
Angeles and San Bernardino counties. Workshop fee includes group
transportation to the field sites.

A list of suggested items will be sent to registered participants before
the class date. Participants are welcome to bring a bag lunch for each day;
light snacks will be provided.

Registration is available online at www.rsabg.org; $150 per person (or $125
for RSABG members or members of Southern California Botanists).

A workshop on the *Oaks of Southern California* will be held November 7-8,
2015. For more upcoming workshops, please see
