Subject: Larry E. Morse Botany Fellowship: 2015 Call for Applications

NatureServe's Botany Department is happy to announce the 2015 call for
applications for the Larry E. Morse Botany Fellowship.  The news article (
contains all of the information about this opportunity.

Any current or former US or Canadian Natural Heritage botanist, ecologist
or data manager with a strong botanical background, is welcome to apply.
Knowledge of Natural Heritage methodology, including conservation status
ranking is required.

The focal areas of this year's fellowship are:  review of global
conservation status ranks for high priority species (e.g., species where
declines are known, those that have not been reviewed in more than 10
years), activities aimed at including plants in State Wildlife Action
Plans, and providing expertise on botanical informatics in support of the
Natural Heritage data needs.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis; however, priority will be
given to applications received by December 1, 2014 and applicants able to
begin by January, 2, 2015.
