Dear colleague,

I am pleased to announce the launch of a new website for the PCA Non-Federal Cooperator Committee (formerly known as the PCA NGO Committee*), located at www.plantconservationalliance.org<http://www.plantconservationalliance.org>. Designed to improve coordination among more than 300 Non-Federal Cooperator organizations, this website makes it easy for new organizations to become Cooperators and for current Cooperators to join the Advocacy Group and take part in collaborative efforts to advocate for plant conservation.

Here's how you can make the most of this website:

* Find out if your organization is a PCA Cooperator by checking out our Cooperator map at http://plantconservationalliance.org/cooperators.
* If your organization is not yet a Cooperator, the primary contact at your organization can apply for Cooperator status by filling out an application at http://plantconservationalliance.org/apply. Your application will be sent to the PCA Chair for approval. If accepted, you will receive an email confirming your organization's status and your organization's name will also be added to our Cooperator webpage.

* If your organization is already a Cooperator, you can apply to receive login information at http://plantconservationalliance.org/user. This will allow you to manage contact information, access additional Cooperator resources, and join the Advocacy Group.

* Join the Non-Federal Cooperator Committee's Advocacy Group. Any Cooperator interested in advocating for plant conservation is encouraged to join the Advocacy Group. To join, the primary contact at your organization must select "YES" under "ADVOCACY GROUP" when editing your organization's profile.

Please address any questions to info at plantconservationalliance.org<mailto:info at plantconservationalliance.org>.

*The PCA Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Committee was recently renamed to the PCA Non-Federal Cooperator (NFC) Committee to better reflect the diverse group of Cooperators that are now a part of it.

Sincerely,

Sophia Shaw
Chair, Plant Conservation Alliance Non-Federal Cooperator Committee
