[PCA] U.S. Ex situ Collections in 2014

We are excited to present two new publications which provide guidance for ex situ conservation collections:

1.       Progress report on Target 8 of the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation in the United States<http://www.bgci.org/resources/news/1093/>

2.       Building living plant collections to support conservation: A guide for public gardens<http://www.bgci.org/resources/news/1092/>

These are valuable tools as we approach the mid-term review<http://www.bgci.org/resources/news/1091/> of progress toward the GSPC.  If you have a living collection and haven't done so in the past year, please upload<http://www.bgci.org/resources/plantsearchuploadinstructions/> a plant list to PlantSearch by the end of February to aid the mid-term assessment, and to freely connect your collections to the global botanical community. Please feel free to share this with your colleagues, and apologies for any cross-postings.
