Three people were cited Tuesday in the poaching of hundreds of Venus'
flytraps in Boiling Spring Lakes.

Myra Lee Lawson, 36, of Wren Place in Shallotte; and Betty Ann Hill, 55,
and William Lewis Riley, 66, both of Gary Drive in Bolivia, are each
charged with taking certain wild plants from the land of another, said BSL
Police Chief Brad Shirley.
