I am a conservation associate with the Xerces Society, currently working on
western monarch conservation. Western monarchs are in decline, and I am in
the process of mapping major milkweed stands and collecting monarch
observations throughout the west in order to identify important breeding
sites and prioritize areas for conservation.****

To do this, I am collecting information from the literature, various
herbaria, and knowledgeable individuals. Xerces has developed a short
web-based survey for anyone who knows about milkweed stands or active
breeding habitat. If any of you know of any locations, can you please fill
out the survey? **

A link to the survey, with more information, is available here:

Thanks so much!****
