2013 PROFESSIONAL WEBINAR SERIES

PRINCIPLES OF SUCCESSFUL SUSTAINABLE LANDSCAPES : SPECIFICATION, INSTALLATION, MAINTENANCE

The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, Ecosystem Design Group<http://www.wildflower.org/consulting/> has put together a four-part webinar series called "Principles of Successful Sustainable Landscapes: Specification, Installation, and Maintenance" (see attachment). We are reaching out to you all as folks who might have staff or colleagues whom you feel might benefit from these trainings.

The webinar series focuses on the key components of designing successful sustainable landscapes starting with the foundational aspects of the process and culminating with techniques used to quantify the success of the design. The series is based on guidelines developed by Sustainable Sites Initiative(tm) (SITES(tm)) - a voluntary rating system for sustainable land design, construction and maintenance practices, created through a joint partnership with ASLA, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, and US Botanic Garden. The goal of this series is to help train design professionals and contractors for efficient and successful specification, installation, and maintenance of project that have sustainable features.

Workshop information and details can be found on our website: http://www.wildflower.org/edg_workshops/
