Lady Bird Johnson WIldflower Center at the University of Texas at Austin


The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center’s seeks an Education Manager to
develop and implement overall program and work plan for on-site education
and outreach programs. In addition to providing programming support for
center-wide events, the education manager develops resources for
www.wildflower.org including resources for students and teachers,
self-guided visitors and interactive children's site. The education manager
also manages school and youth field-study trips and tours and works with
volunteer coordinator to implement docent training, refreshers and
enrichments. The education manager will provide interpretive support for
Children's Garden, Arboretum, and other projects, develop program plans and
budgets and assist with grant writing and administration.
