Ecological Restoration: WHY BOTHER?

Challenged by climate change? Wondering how that factors into your
restoration plans, and what the challenges are? Wondering what people are
doing with their own project planning? Then this is a conference for you!

> (Feb 12 deadline)

The effects of climate change and advancing urbanization are challenging
some of the fundamental assumptions and objectives of our work in
Ecological Restoration.

Our conference this year will reconsider our purposes in this unprecedented
context, look at the restoration practices that are proving successful and
those that aren’t, and attempt to direct ourselves toward what will be most
useful for the future.

Join us for a day of stimulating presentations and lively networking.
Special features include a Wine & Cheese Poster Pub and a special dinner
presentation on “Conservation-Reliant Species: Our New Relationship with
Nature”
