Great gardens begin with trees! Please join us to plan for your 2010
garden season at The Morton Arboretum’s annual Midwest Gardening
Symposium. This event, held from March 5 - 7 on the Arboretum’s gorgeous
1700 acre campus in Lisle, brings new ideas, great plants, focused
vision, and knowledgeable people together for three entertaining days of
learning and networking.

Discover about-to-be-released plants, meet with national and local
experts and find inspiration for your next landscape project.
Registration fees depend on the programs you choose. Register for both

Symposium
Friday, March 5; 8:30 am—4:30 pm. Keynote Speaker Gordon Hayward on
“Art as Inspiration for Garden Design.” Thornhill Education Center;
includes continental breakfast, lunch, and afternoon reception with
eight speakers. 
Saturday, March 6; 8:30 am—4:30 pm. Keynote Speaker Mike Yanny on
“Great Woody Plants for Discerning Gardeners.” Visitor Center;
includes continental breakfast, lunch, and afternoon reception with
thirteen speakers.

Tours
Sunday, March 7; 7:30 am—2 pm.
“Behind the Scenes Tour of the Chicago Flower Show.” Includes coach bus
and light breakfast. 
Sunday, March 7; 10 am—3 pm. “Art Insti-tute Tour & Workshop” with
Gordon Hayward and Suzanne Wegener. Includes museum fees and box lunch.
