Hundreds of native plants killed along waterways in York
YMCA officials said plants along Willis Run were cut down by mistake.
Another $51,000 in native plants were cleared along the Codorus Creek by
the Army Corps of Engineers.

One week ago, there were 300 native plants and 30 mature trees planted by
William Penn Senior High School students along the banks of Willis Run at
the Graham Aquatic Center.
Today, there is only soil.
