It says the focus is on roadsides, but anyone with experience in native
plant restoration may be able to give some useful input.

Subject ACTION: Survey for Domestic Scan on Roadside Revegetation Using
native Plants

Dear Colleague,

FHWA.s Office of Federal Lands Highway, in conjunction with the
Coordinated Technology Implementation Program (CTIP), is conducting a
domestic scan of best practices in roadside revegetation with a
special focus on native plants. The scan will consider any
innovative practices that could be beneficially adopted by other
transportation agencies, and will focus on process, procedure, timing
and actual practices associated with roadside revegetation during the
road engineering lifecycle.
As a first step toward identifying successful roadside revegetation
projects for a possible onsite visit by the scan team, we request
your input in a brief online survey. The survey should take no
longer than 15-20 minutes and will be invaluable in completing the
scan.

Please access the survey using the following link:
http://survey.pbid.com/Survey.aspx?s=53739f06737d4a41af7e8c229c60f2e8

We would appreciate completion of the survey by March 27, 2009.
Please feel free to forward this survey to those people in your
organization who use native plants for roadside revegetation.

If you have any questions or comments, please call or email.

With Best Regards,
