To Whom It May Concern;

I am a doctoral student at the University of Georgia studying bumble bees. I have designed a simple survey that anyone can fill out should they find a bumble bee nest. There is currently no database for bumble bee nest site preferences in North America, and this information would be valuable for conservation efforts.

I'm writing to ask if you would be willing to post a link to my survey on your website. I am asking gardens, nature centers, and clubs all over North America to post a link to my survey in an attempt to get a large number of responses. I hope to collect surveys for the next several years and compare the data to historical records of bumble bee nest sites.

In order for my survey to be a success, I need to expose it to as many people as possible. Please let me know if you would be willing to support this research and post a link to the survey, which I have attached to this email.
