Join SERCAL and CNGA this Spring in Folsom for:


"A Confluence of Perspectives and Experience: Habitat Restoration in
California's Central Valley"

Co-sponsored by the California Society for Ecological Restoration and
the California Native Grassland Association, this joint conference,
including optional workshops and fieldtrips, will be held April 29
through May 3 at the Lake Natoma Inn.

Technical Sessions (April 30 & May 1) include:

    Technology in Habitat Restoration: Recent Advances in Restoring,
Monitoring & Managing Landscapes
    Restoration Opportunities within Working Agricultural & Ranching
Landscapes
    Working Grasslands: Managing for Diversity
    Reclaiming the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta: Wetland Restoration in
the Delta and Bay Region
    Vernal Pool Restoration and Effectiveness Monitoring for
Special-Status Speces
    Seed and Plant Material Techniques for Site Restoration
    Incorporating Civil Engineering and Modeling into Habitat Restoration
    Climate Change: Issues, Impacts and Responses
    Grassland Ecology and Restoration

Three workshops will be held before the conference (April 29) and CNGA
will hold a 2-day Poaceae Identification workshop following the
conference (May 2-3). Conference attendees will also have the option of
attending one of five post-conference field trips (May 2).
