New plant species discovered in Mount Diablo foothills

A retired carpenter with a keen eye for the details of nature has 
discovered two new wildflower species on the publicly owned Lime Ridge 
Open Space in the Mount Diablo foothills a few miles from downtown Walnut 
Creek.
