Part Two in a series on Fire Ecology in the Los Padres National Forest

Santa Barbara, CA - The Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, in conjunction
with the Los Padres ForestWatch, is pleased to sponsor a three-part
series: Fire Ecology in the Los Padres National Forest.

The second presentation in this series, Chaparral and Fire, will be held
March 18, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the Botanic Garden's Blaksley Library.
The featured speaker will be Richard Halsey from the California
Chaparral Institute.  Mr. Hasley has many years experience working with
chaparral as a firefighter, teacher, and communicator.
