The Embassy of Australia
Clean Up the World Day

Have a day out with friends and family while helping to clean up Marvin
Gaye Park on the 15th anniversary of "Clean Up the World Day." This
global event evolved from the original "Clean Up Australia" campaign and
now involves more than 35 million people in 120 countries.

In Washington, DC the Embassy of Australia will partner with Marvin Gaye
Park - the longest city park in the District - for a "Clean Up the World"
event from 9am - 2pm on Saturday, 15 September. Help revitalize this
neighborhood park by participating in activities for all ages such as
rubbish pick-up, removing invasive plant species, and planting native
flowers and trees. After the clean up, the Embassy Social Club will also
host a "sausage sizzle" for volunteers.

All equipment is supplied. Just bring an extra set of hands.

To participate please register by calling 202 797 3373 or by emailing
