Thank you for forwarding the article on invasives in "native" seed mixes.
In the Dillard, Oregon area an invasive plant called "Pattersons curse" (
Echium plantagineum) is believed to have been included in a "wildflower"
mix that was planted in the area.  Since the plant is new to the area it
had spread to over 300 acres before eradication was started.  That was in
2002 or 2003 and they are still working on getting rid of Patterson's
curse.
