WASHINGTON, DC - Following this week's news that the population of the 
United States has now exceeded 300 million, a new report from the World 
Wildlife Fund (WWF) details the strain on the world's natural resources 
and the declining numbers of the animal species that depend on them, and 
offers solutions to reverse downward trends in both these areas.
