Shrubs, trees and flowers native to Georgia's clime don't shrivel in late 
July's heat. These tough plants can take weeks of drought -- or too much rain 
-- without giving in to the elements. They're hardy enough to put up a fight 
against insects and disease.

But bulldozers? That's another story.
