Lab scientists clone rare Akron plant

CINCINNATI - The northern monkshood, a rare plant with plain purple-blue 
blossoms found in Summit County, has something in common with the 
critically endangered Sumatran rhinoceros.

Both species have received reproductive help from researchers at the 
Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden.
