JFNew will sponsor the 2004 Designing With Native Plants Seminar on July
7-9 at the Center for Continuing Education at The University of Notre
Dame.

Do you create designs that utilize native plants in a landscape,
engineering, or restoration setting? Are you a landscape architect,
environmental engineer, ecological consultant, or natural resource
specialist who wants to learn more about using natives in design? Are
you aware of the ten most common problems native plant design
specifications often contain?

Find out the answer to these and many more questions at this
information-packed, two-day educational seminar for landscape design
professionals. Here you'll learn what makes natives special, why the
market for natives is blooming, how to create specifications that
optimize project success, and what native plants and the LEED program
have in common.

The keynote address will be given by Dr. Frederick Steiner, Dean of the
School of Architecture at the University of Texas at Austin. Expert
advice will also be offered by Dr. Robert Schutzki, Professor of
Horticulture, Michigan State University, Ellen Jacquart, Director of
Stewardship, Indiana Chapter of The Nature Conservancy, and other
leading experts from JFNew and our industry.

To receive a complete agenda and registration packet please call
574-586-3400 and mention the Designing With Native Plants Seminar. We
look forward to seeing you this summer!
