This is a plug for a friend of mine who sells excellent quality native
grass plugs.  He's the guy who introduced 'berkeley sedge', carex pansa,
and 'molate fescue'.  His stock is high and so his prices are good.
Scroll down to see what he has available and what his prices are.  Alot
of these grasses are difficult to find for less than an arm and a leg.
He usually runs out of alot of this stuff early, so if you or anyone you
know is considering converting a piece of their property into a
beautiful native grass meadow [interplanted w/ wildflowers!], now is the

Pete,
       Here is a list of native grass plugs that I have available.  They

come in trays of 200 plugs and the dimension of the plug is 1" square on

the top and tapers 3" deep.  Depending on how many plants are purchased 
the wholesale price starts at 35 cents each (retail: 50 cents).

Festuca rubra, Molate Fescue,  6 trays
F. idahoensis, Idaho Fescue, 5 trays
Achillea millefolium, Yarrow from Berkeley Hills, 1 tray
