They are practically asking to delete history: instead of being the repository of all this important biological assessments, they are asking to erase any trace...This is scary. With contributions from 60 experts drawn from universities, private industry, nonprofit organizations and federal science agencies, this report brings together the most recent science on the ecology, economics, social, and cultural significance of nontimber forest products and implications of increasingly fluctuating environmental conditions for them. This presentation will provide key findings from the report, with examples of key nontimber forest product species such as American ginseng and wild rice.<br><br></div><div>Speakers: <br><ul><li>James L. Chamberlain, Research Forest Products Technologist with the USDA Forest Service Southern Research Station in Blacksburg, VA. His research focuses on the utilization of non-timber forest products (NTFPs) and the sustainable management of forest resources to ensure the availability of NTFPs.<br></li><li>Marla R.
